Misinformation and disinformation are widespread on the issue of climate change, and they’ve been major obstacles in tackling the climate crisis. Misleading content distorts the perception of climate science and solutions, creates confusion, and can lead to delays or even harmful action.

The UN strongly recommends reliance on scientific consensus and hence, to check your sources – the uniquely authoritative source is the UN’s IPCC, whose assessments are written by hundreds of leading scientists with contributions from thousands of experts and endorsed by 195 countries.
