A Year of Regenerative Learning
The world "after" the pandemic (even though we're still dealing with covid-19) is a very different one. The demands placed on organizational leaders have changed - they're more complex than ever before.
In addition, organizational leaders are now faced with the reality of climate. It's no longer a choice of belief, it is in our backyards (for many, literally). It's affecting our business supply chains and will get worse. We'll need to find new approaches, and develop new leadership mindsets There's a huge need for regenerative learning if we're to flourish in the 21st Century.
To regenerate means to regrow or be renewed or restored. Let's ask ourselves then, how can we regenerate our thinking? At ProVeritas Leadership, 2022 saw the start of our regenerative journey of developing deep collaboration relationships, to better serve all our clients. We'd like to share a few highlights from 2022:
- Offering leader-specific consulting and coaching services on Climate & Sustainability to help organizations understand, develop, and action evidence-based ESG strategies, with humanity in mind.
- Creating an inclusive and collaborative learning space for Asia Pacific coaches and L&D professionals by convening and leading the APAC Roundtables for the Institute of Coaching, McLean Hospital Affiliate/Harvard Medical School. Facilitators from all over the world shared their expertise and wisdom on salient topics such as ethics in coaching; trends in evidence-based coaching; mental toughness; narrative coaching for planetary health; coaching trends in Asia Pacific; and coaching through the DEI lens.
- Actively working with the Climate Coaching Alliance - a global and open-access organization dedicated to empowering climate-conscious psychologists and coaches to raise awareness and facilitate systemic change.
We look forward to walking with you and your teams in 2023, as we continue (or commence, depending on where you are) our respective regenerative journeys. In the meantime, why not read the book Scientists in Every Boardroom for new perspectives on leadership in the 21st Century?
