Hope you’re well and looking forward to the school holidays (if you’re in Australia). It’s been several months between newsletters, and for good reason: getting ready for the launch of my first book! It took much longer than expected as I wanted it to be applicable to all leaders undergoing any transition, whilst focusing on the urgent need for scientific thinking presently facing the world.
 
I’m therefore excited to announce that my book Scientists In Every Boardroom: Harnessing the power of STEMM leaders in an irrational world will be launched at the end of October 2019.
 
Based on the science of coaching, applied in our leadership development programs, the book seeks to:
  • Develop an understanding of why organisations (and the world) need more STEMM leaders at the decision-making table.
  • Provide a blueprint for success by applying the SCIENCE of Leadership coaching model to help professionals transition to influential leadership roles.
  • Help you learn about tools from coaching psychology to identify and overcome individual and systemic obstacles to success.
  • Case studies on how coaching accelerates career progression.
Our readers will be able to purchase the book online from our website from all large distributors like Amazon, Book Depository, Booktopia as well as on Kindle and Apple Store.
 
And for even more exciting news, the Royal Australian Chemical Institute is hosting an official book launch event, so please make sure to save the date now!

Where: University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Guthrie Theatre
What to expect: Canapes, drinks, wine, successful leaders from many industries

In the meantime, I’m getting ready to travel to Ottawa, Canada and present at the Annual Global International Leadership Association (ILA) Conference, on the 27th October. Check out the details of my presentation here.
